First test of cloud-based RF QoS Unattended Probe for GSM-R networks

Clear CinCom has tested the first version of its proprietary RF QoS unattended probe solution for the continuous collection of KPIs and metrics of live GSM-R networks. The company has assembled an international team of experts to produce a solution designed from RF perspective by GSM-R radio network engineers to develop a product that allows increased frequency of measurements and area covered when monitoring the air interface performance of cellular radio networks. The physical probe is mounted in rolling stock and sends data to the accompanying versatile cloud-based analysis application, which gives Clear CinCom’s clients around the world instant access to the complete data set collected – including historic KPIs as well as real time measurements. The software allows for trend analysis and for early stage automatic fault detection, both Subset093 CS and PS test cases are supported in accordance with the latest ERTMS standard and the open interface allows integration with existing third-party reporting platforms.
